However, before you go to an auto salvage yard, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. Check out some of our tips below, then come and pull some auto parts!

Tips for Auto Salvage Yards

Don’t come alone.

At Bessler’s, we highly recommend you come with at least one friend to help you pull parts. This is because some parts are heavy, difficult to get to, or require more hands than you have. We are passionate about safety and encourage all of our customers to bring at least one additional person along in order to help out. It’s also more fun with a friend! 

Bring your own tools. 

At Bessler’s, and many other auto salvage yards, tools are not provided. We recommend you bring everything you need to pull parts, including tools, lubricant, and safety gear like gloves and goggles. We do, however, have wheelbarrows to help you carry your parts. 

Know what you need before you come. 

Before you come to our auto salvage yard, make sure you know exactly what you need. If you want to check before you visit us, check out our inventory. While we can’t keep track of every single part remaining in a vehicle, we can tell you if the vehicle is on our lot. Our inventory is updated daily, and we get hundreds of new vehicles in every month.
